Fire curtain winches are generally composed of motors, brakes, hydraulic motors (or cylinders), drums and hydraulic buffering manual release devices. In order to ensure safety and reliability, double brakes should be installed, either the motor's own brake or an independent hydraulic brake. The wire rope on the drum is wound in a single layer. The drum shaft of the winch should be connected to the buffer reduction device, and the buffer reduction device should be activated at the set position through a mechanical device.
